- The problem is that I don't see a way to confine it to Greece. People in Spain, Italy, and France see what is happening to Greece, so they will all run to the banks to pull their money out, too (who wouldn't?!)....

- I agree. I would also like to know how a young man can be beaten to death and the only charges are hazing? And what about charges against others? How could a band director of FORTY YEARS not know this was going on? I am sorry, but there is not NEARLY enough outrage here.

Of course you can disagree with some of darker coloring. Like those of brighter coloring when the debate is insulting then call the person on it so it goes for people of color.
I find it cowardly to hide behind such a statement. You donot like the President Carter opinion that can be explained - you never experienced oppression or repression or have been told get over it your black so you must be use to it. It is sad when the conversation cannot be because one is speaking to someone of color.

I really hate to bother you with another fact but, Bush is the reason why "we the people" own GM. Obama is simply dealing with the aftermath of what has happened.

On a side note, you republicans are smug enough to coddle the poor executives of national banks who were treated so mean and forced into buying other banks when in reality it was republicans who are responsible for those actions.

When are you right-wingers going to start taking responsibility for your own actions (namely the election of "W")?

P.S., 47% of the voting public is not in any way impressive. May I remind you that 53% of the public voted for Obama and only 45% for McCain? That's a margin of more than 10 million votes.

It always amazes me to hear Republicans talk about big spending. Duh!Bya inherited a $280 Billion surplus and left us with a $1.3 Trillion Deficit. Duh!Bya inherited a National Debt of $5.2 Trillion and left us with a $10.1 Trillion National Debt. In fact, the Republican Administrations of Reagan, Bush Senior and DuhBya are responsible for over 60% of the total $10.1 Trillion in National Debt.
